Phoenix Mars Lander y Tasmin Archer

Todavía no recuperado del impresionante primer partidazo jugado por la "La Roja" en el día de ayer frente a la coriácea selección helvética, con el resultado por todos conocido, he decidido relajarme un poco jugueteando con el VirtualDubMod.

Puesto a ello, me he bajado una animación en alta definición de la NASA de la recientemente finiquitada misión Phoenix Mars Lander, la he reducido a un tamaño más manejable y le he metido como banda sonora un viejo y "espacial" éxito de los 90, la canción Sleeping Satellite, de la británica Tasmin Archer.

Estupendo el vídeo que sirve como colofón a una misión con la que hemos aprendido mas cosas sobre el planeta roja, uyy, digo rojo.

Y estupendo también el tema, cuantos recuerdos.

Menos mal que la banderitas con las que se están adornando las terrazas de nuestros edificios son baratas, y siempre se pueden volver a usar para otro tipo de eventos; a ver lo que duran colgadas en los balcones .....

Este video es muy parecido a otro que ya en su día comentamos en los foros (ver el hilo http://www.latinquasar.org/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=61&topic=3768.0) en el que la canción Sunspots tema del grupo americano NIN ponía música a una animación sobre el lanzamiento y "amartizaje" de los rovers del JPL:

Tanto el video que yo he colgado como este otro han salido de los ordenadores de Mass Digital, empresa creada por Daniel Mass para la comercialización de sus trabajos de animación.

En cuanto a la canción Sleeping Satellite, aquí tenéis la letra por si tenéis ganas de hacer un karaoke este fin de semana:

Como siempre espectaculares videos, gracias por aportarlos y la musica genial.

Aún recuerdo el video musica de Tasmin, que tiempos aquellos, cuando fué el inicio del fin de la música.

Increible que tiren un boniato (digo rover), al suelo marciano y antes de caer y mediante cohetes se estabilice y caiga de pie, increible, ni los gatos.

Muy buen video. Nostálgico.
